Expensive, But Quick

The plumbers were back this morning to dig up our yard and finish the project. Most of our front yard turned into a six-foot ditch, but they were able to connect the PVC sewage pipes to the main sewer line, and run a 'bubbler' line for the sump pump. The old cast-iron pipes that were sticking out of the basement floor have been cemented over, leaving a level floor where the broken pipe was. The yard is a mess, covered in dirt and torn up grass, but the basement is clean and has new pipes and utility sink in it. Sorry for the brief review, but I'm tired, and the pictures are worth about 5000 words...

Oh kids! Welcome to home-ownership! Just the first of many bumps - just laugh and enjoy and be grateful for God's provision that you could get the problem repaired. Imagine if you could not have worked out a way to fix it.

Hey Jon. My hard drive crashed and in the process I lost your email. You have mine / or PawPaw's. Will you please send me yours.

Enjoy your new plumbing :) Such a blessing to have it!

Love you guys, MeMee
