Closing! Finally!

We finally have our closing date on our house!  We have our final inspection Tuesday night and then we will officially become homeowners on Wednesday at 3pm!  We can't wait!  So we get the house on Wednesday and we get furniture and appliances from our parents on Saturday!  Jon's parents are coming on Saturday and they are bringing us couches from my parents and outdoor furniture, a fabulous washer and dryer, a rocking chair, lawnmower, and tools from them.  We are so blessed to have parents to help furnish our new home!  We couldn't do it without them.  We will start tearing up the carpet and tile on the first floor to get it ready for the new flooring.  We will also be painting everything.  So many before and after pictures to come!  

A short update on the cats... They don't mind each other so much anymore.

                

                  

We have a lot coming up in the next few weeks.  We have weddings the weekends of the 11th and the 18th, in MI and IL, so we are looking forward to seeing lots of friends and family those weekends.  We also have work (and lab for Jon) and we need to be out of our apartment by the end of the month.  We would really like to have all the new flooring down and the painting done before we move in, so lots to do this month.  But we are excited about all of it!  

If any of you want to come and help paint or put down flooring we have plenty of space and would love to see you (and we love free help...we will feed you- Jon's a great cook!)
